REGISTERING FOR THE STATE OF MICHIGAN EXAM)
Scheduling The State Exam
- Register for your exam online at http://candidate.psiexams.com or by calling 1-800-733-9267 Monday through Friday, between 7:30 am and 8:00 pm and Saturday, between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. The $40 testing fee must be paid at the time of registration. A confirmation number will be provided upon completion of the registration process. The school code for Launch Learning Group (0883).
Applying For Your License
- To apply for your producer’s license with the State of Michigan you will need to complete an online application. Go to www.nipr.com and click on Resident – Initial License (left side of screen). The licensing fee is $15.
- Print out the confirmation. You must print the receipt at time of submission or contact customer service at 816-783-8468. You must have this with you on test day.
Testing Day
(Arrive 30 Minutes Before Your Appointment)
You will need to bring the following items with you:
- Government issued photo I.D.
- A second form of I.D. (signed credit card, social security card, sealed birth certificate)
- Pre-licensing certificate for each line of insurance or failed score report
- Copy of receipt from www.nipr.com
- Prometric confirmation number
